The weather is warming up and that means festival season is near! After a long and cold winter, there is nothing better than spending the summer outside with friends and family, enjoying great food and cold beer. Here is a list of our favourite summer festivals and events.
Toronto Food Truck Festival
Woodbine Park - 1695 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario
August 2: 5pm-10pm
August 3: 12pm-10pm
August 4: 12pm-8pm
August 5: 12pm-8pm
This is by far the largest food tuck festival in all of Ontario. You can find the best and most popular food trucks there with live music, beer and a spacious outdoor area. There is no cost to attend but we do recommend dropping a donation at the door which goes towards the Sick Kids Foundation. For more information, click here.
Burlington Food Truck Festival
Spencer Smith Park - 1400 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario
July 19: 5pm-10pm
July 20: 12pm-10pm
July 21: 12pm-9pm
After a successful past couple years, the festival will be expanding from 2 days to 3 days! The outdoor venue offers an amazing view of the waterfront and the Skyway Bridge. This event will boast up to 40 trucks, a children’s midway, beer tent, and local performers. Admission is free and donations are collected at the door to support the Sick Kids Foundation. Brampton Food Truck Festival
Chinguacousy Park - 9050 Bramalea Road, Brampton, Ontario
August 30: 5pm-9pm
August 31: 12pm-9pm
September 1: 12pm-8pm
After a successful first year, this festival will also be expanding to 3 days. You can expect up to 40 trucks, beer, live performances, and even eating challenges! The event will be held in a 100 acre park in the heart of Brampton. The park has a sports facility includes a curling facility, winterized tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, state of the art track & field, a mini-putt course, formal gardens, greenhouse, paddle boats, pony rides, petting zoo, splash pad, children’s playground, and a BMX/skateboard park. King City Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival
King City Memorial Park - 25 Doctors Lane, King City, Ontario
June 8: 12pm-9pm
This one day event is one of the best craft beer festivals, north of the city. The event will have food trucks, live music, beer, and charity draws for the gusts to take part in. Tickets range from $10-$25 depending on the type of ticket, and they are cheaper if you purchase online ahead of time. For more information and tickets, click here.
Stouffville Food Truck Frenzy
Memorial Park - Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (Burkholder Street & Park Drive)
Thursday, June 20: 5pm-9pm
Friday, September 13: 5pm-9pm
This short and sweet evening event takes place in the beautiful and charming Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. Its a great way to spend a nice summer evening with the family and grab some dinner. The event will have over 20 food trucks and live music. Free admission. For more information, click here.
Food Truck’n Friday
Resurrection Church - 1 Resurrection Road, Etobicoke, Ontario
Every 2 Fridays starting in the Spring (Check out @foodtrucknfriday on social media for exact dates)
This regularly scheduled food truck event happens every 2 weeks through the Spring, Summer, and Fall! Located in a nice Etobicoke neighborhood, it attracts loads of guests, looking to enjoy a relaxing dinner from their favourite food trucks, while listening to live music and DJs.
